Whenever we present the MRI in Practice course, one of the most common requests made by our delegates is for an electronic version of the course to view at home as a revision aid. To facilitate this, we have teamed up with the Philips Learning Centre to release some of the key lectures on-line.
The benefits of this method (over a CD presentation for example) are:
- The content can be accredited as a learning/CPD activity
- Electronic delivery keeps pricing to a minimum
- You only need to buy the lectures that you are interested in
- We can keep the content up-to-date
- We can produce content that runs in a browser across all operating system platforms.
We appreciate that ePresentations are no substitute for coming on the full four-day course, with its practical sessions, networking opportunities and social elements, but we intend to publish some of the more important topics to the learning centre to allow our delegates the opportunity to revisit some of the concepts covered and get further accreditation/CPD activity from their learning.
For users who have never attended our MRI in Practice course, we hope that these on-line lectures will also serve as an introduction to our live presentations, and will show you what to expect in terms of quality and content. As a stand-alone resource it will certainly provide a good overview of some of the basic principles of MRI.
Intended Audience:
Principally MRI radiographers, MRI technologists studying for the US registry exam, and radiologists who have an interest in the underpinning principles of the modality. The on-line lectures may also interest representatives from from the fields of chemistry (contrast media), veterinary science, engineers and other practitioners who work in the field of MRI.

Accessing our on-line content:
currently there is only one ePresentation available on-line:

MRI Image Quality (Signal to Noise Ratio)
Narrated by Cathy Westbrook
