The Course:
MRI in Practice | The Course is held two or three times each year in the UK.

For 2010, we are absolutely delighted to announce a new partnership with Cobalt in Cheltenham, who will be organising all of our UK courses.
Cobalt are a registered charity, who provide State-of-the-Art diagnostic imaging, using the very latest MRI scanners, including a 3T high-field system, a 1T open, and a 1.5T mobile.

Intended Audience:
Principally MRI radiographers, but also radiologists who have an interest in the underpinning principles of the modality. We also welcome delegates from the fields of chemistry (contrast media), veterinary science, engineers and other practitioners who work in the field of MRI. Please join our on-line community for pre-course networking opportunities.

The benefits of our new partnership with Cobalt

Our new partnership with Cobalt will allow us to develop and offer new versions of the course that were not previously possible.
We will now have access to some of the very latest MRI scanners, right on site at the course venue. This will allow us to include practical sessions that are impossible to realise at conference venues or hotel locations.
For the theoretical component of the course, work is currently underway to create an airy, comfortable new teaching room, at Linton House in Cheltenham, see picture above.
Cheltenham provides an ideal location, with great public transport and motorway links. Accommodation is readily available at local hotels, all within easy distance of the venue.

Another major advantage for us in partnering with a registered charity, such as Cobalt, is that we can now offer a course that is completely free from ties to private imaging companies. Unlike some of our would-be competitors, this allows us to offer a truly independent, completely generic MRI course, where the profits made by the course go to good causes. Everyone benefits!

If you wish to learn more about the Cobalt appeal, and their good work, please visit their web site here.
